The melodiously colorful sky of Bali serves as the perfect backdrop to this extraordinary project. The Stairs offers the rarest living ownership experience on the ‘Island of the Gods’ in a limited collection of 12 private pool loft villas. The architecture, interiors and furnishings of each self-contained villa are fully conceived and precisely curated by Starck – his first fully-envisioned hotel villa concept across the Asia-Pacific region.
The investors group came to GEE Global with an idea to open a new hotel concept. Through research on global trends, our team envisioned a comprehensive strategy to brief the Starck design team to create the epitome of a luxury villa hotel concept rooted in exceptionality without pretension.
Working with the investor group from the very beginning, we formulated a strategic approach to elevate the project through lifestyle, and began to implement the brand strategy bringing concept into fruition.

THE STAIRS VILLA HOTEL SIDE ELEVATION
Developing a powerful and sustainable story behind the brand was the first step to create an internationally-recognized, branded property development even before ground-breaking started. We crafted the concept brief, which led to Starck’s immaculate architectural and interior designs. We worked with the investors group on encompassing strategic approach. We brought-in and project-managed partners across all disciplines and specialties. We developed the visual identity system and promotional collateral across all channels. Then we launched the brand campaign in February 2013 through a global media blitz to bring instant prominence to what was before an unknown brand.
In less than one year after the lifestyle brand campaign launched, GEE Global achieved editorial placements in A-List magazine globally, securing earned media worth an advertising value of more than US $1.27 million in print and online media globally, including being listed by the Robb Report’s “Luxury’s 25 Most Innovative Brands” alongside iconic brands such as Cartier, Lamborghini, Aman Resorts, Chanel, among few others.
